Washington Marine Market
/Our display was vastly better than our first attempt (at Oriental a few weeks back).
The view out our back door was gorgeous!
Unfortunately, we got rained out in the early afternoon.
The Good: One of our neighboring vendors went and searched for this chart for me. He had been to Hispaniola in '84 and thought I could put pins everywhere we send a boat. Thank you, Ray, for the encouragement, and cool idea!
The Weird: Some fellow stopped and made a point of decrying any assistance going to Haiti because, in his view, it was utterly hopeless. I think he used the word hopeless at least a dozen times. Sir, hopelessness resides inside everyone who does not have hope in Christ. We send boats to Haiti because of who we are, not because they meet some criteria.
